Photon Racer
Photon Racer is a first-person neon light-cycle game built in WebGL. You are the Hunter — the AI is the Runner. Chase it down, cut off its escape routes, and force it into its own trail before it traps you first.
How it plays
- You are the Hunter. The AI actively evades you — it reads the arena and tries to escape. Your job is to close off its options and force a crash.
- Every move leaves a wall. Both you and the AI lay down solid light trails as you ride. Those trails become permanent obstacles that fill the arena over time.
- First person view. You ride from inside the cockpit with a targeting reticle and a live radar showing both your position and the AI's at all times.
- Boost to start. Each round launches when you hold Shift or press the Boost button — you hit the arena at 1.8x speed right out of the gate.
- First to 3 round wins takes the match. Rounds are fast. Matches are best of five.
Controls
- Turn: Arrow keys or A/D
- Boost: Hold Shift (keyboard) or the Boost button (mobile) — launches the round and hits 1.8x speed
- Mobile: Left/right turn buttons on screen, Boost button top right
- Pause: Pause button top right
- Fullscreen: Fullscreen button top right
